Our dentists Chris, Claire, Scott, Crystle and Micayla offer a wealth of expertise and experience to benefit your dental health. They will take the time to educate you and your family when it comes to your dental health so that you fully understand your options.
Our reception and clinical staff are united in the effort to deliver excellent dental service and to make each patient as comfortable as possible, at every appointment. It is our aspiration to serve our community, not only through the best dental care possible, but also by being an example of a caring, positive, and enjoyable place to visit and work.
Dr Chris Patel
Chris has a particular interest in extractions, oral surgery, implants, aesthetics, children and trauma.
Dr Claire O’Connor
After deciding she wanted to be a dentist at the tender age of 8, Dr Claire O’Connor qualified in 2001 from Liverpool University, England. She practiced for 10 years in the UK before immigrating to Australia in 2012. Claire enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in Aesthetics (crown and bridge) and treating nervous patients. She also finds children and women’s dentistry especially rewarding.
Dr Crystle Culling
Crystle is a compassionate and friendly dentist who loves both the clinical and personal sides to her work. She obtained a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma in Dentistry at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
Crystle has interests in paediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, treating anxious patients and conscious sedation (happy gas).
In her free time Crystle enjoys travelling, live music, time spent with friends and family, hikes and spoiling her bulldog Stella.
Dr Scott Preston
Scott is a warm, charismatic dentist who believes the foundation of dentistry is education and prevention.
Scott studied Dentistry at Griffith University, graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry.
Scott enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in extractions, oral surgery, root canal and aesthetic cases.
Oral Health Therapist, Practice Manager
With an extensive background in the dental industry, Kacey has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting, a Diploma in Professional Practice Management and most recently completed her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy.
Kacey takes a keen interest in providing patients with the ‘hygienist’ clean feeling as well as educating patients on effective oral hygiene routines.
With 4 years of administration experience, Matilda joined the Budi Dental team in June 2019. Matilda has a friendly, caring nature and endeavours to provide a comforting safe space for patients to feel welcome. In her spare time, Matilda enjoys spending time with her daughter and volunteering at an aged care home.
Laura began her dental journey in London 2016, and joined the Budi Dental team when she moved back to Australia.
Having a bubbly and approachable personality, she will always greet you with a smile when you walk into the practice. Laura holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Outside of work Laura loves to adventure outdoors and spend time with friends and family as often as she can.
Crystal joined Budi Dental in May 2018. With over 9 years reception experience Crystal loves to make sure all patients feel welcomed while maintaining a friendly, professional, caring attitude toward all that come into the practice. In her spare time she loves 4wdriving, traveling and spending time with her family and friends
Nicole began her dental career with us at Budi Dental in February 2012. During her time at Budi Dental Nicole has completed her certificate III in Dental Assisting and now works within all aspects of the dental practice. Nicole enjoys being an all-rounder so you might find her on the front desk, office or in surgery. Outside of work, you will find Nicole spending time with friends and family or down at the local plant nursery.
Jaymi has been working at Budi Dental since March 2012. She started as a Trainee and has since completed her Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting. Jaymi enjoys all aspects of working in the dental profession, and loves helping to make patients visit to our practice an enjoyable experience.When she is not at work, Jaymi enjoys spending quality family time with her husband and two young daughters.
Zahlia graduated from Chancellor State College in 2017 and joined the Budi Dental team in 2018. Zahlia is currently studying Certificate III in Dental Assisting at TAFE QLD. In her spare time Zahlia enjoys travelling, going to the beach and being around friends and family.
Aleisha joined the Budi Dental team in August 2019. Aleisha has an enthusiastic and friendly nature with a vibrant personality. She will aim to make you feel at ease and ensure your experience at Budi Dental is a positive one with a finishing smile. In her free time, Aleisha enjoys shopping, going to the beach and seeing her family and friends.
